My name is Chris Edwards. I am the pastor and founder of Vineyard Gospel Ministries. The Vineyard is the launching of the vision that God put within me to plant a new church in the Richlands area. The character of the vision is a people united to serve Christ through commitment to God and others, passion that is demonstrated through ministry, experiential worship and personal holiness.
Vineyard Gospel Ministries is a ministry that is not bound by the traditions of men, religion, or a list of rules that is not biblical. My heart's desire is to build a ministry that is anointed with the power of God to make an impact in the city of Richlands and the surrounding area. To build a ministry that seeks truth and direction from the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Welcome! I am so glad you decided to visit our site today. You are the reason we are here. We had you - yes you - in mind when we made the decision to create a website. We care about you, and we want you to know that there can be more to life than just “church.”
I am on the greatest journey of my life. It all started with a desire to know and understand more about God. That hunger led me to Pastor Chris Edwards, and Vineyard Gospel Ministries. I always knew church could be this way! Real, relevant, and relational. This is a great place to get to know Jesus. But it’s even more than that. It’s about you getting to know you. Who are you? Why are you here? What purpose does your life have?
VGM has helped to answer these questions for me. I just received my Bachelors of Theology, and I'm a licensed minister. God had a destiny planned out just for me. He has one for you, too! As a leader, I look forward to helping others discover who they are in Christ. I will be at VGM on Sunday… see you there!
LIFEgroups…get connected!
LIFEgroups are a relaxed, interactive and fun setting where you can meet new friends. We love Sunday worship services, but there is something really special about getting together with a small group of people just like you. ...People who have some of the same interests and questions that you do.
This group is designed for those who may not understand everything about the Bible, but want to know more. It's NOT a church service. No one will preach to you. But you will be comfortable enough to ask questions… curious enough to return… challenged to think outside of the box… and given a chance to discover what real LIFE is all about! Come dressed comfortably. All children have a class of their own! So no need to worry!
